Our cooking classes provide a delightful mix of fun, entertainment, and education, ideal for anyone eager to improve their culinary skills in a relaxed setting. Under the Chef Instructor’s expert guidance, you’ll master a range of dishes, from gourmet creations to everyday favorites, all within an energetic and engaging atmosphere. No matter your skill level, whether you’re a seasoned chef or just starting out, our classes are crafted to be enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
In addition to hands-on cooking, our classes include interactive demonstrations, valuable cooking tips, and insights into culinary techniques and ingredients. You’ll have the opportunity to socialize with fellow food enthusiasts, share experiences, and create delicious meals together. By the end of each class, you’ll not only have a newfound confidence in the kitchen but also memorable experiences and new friends who share your passion for cooking.
Kids who love cooking? Children with an interest/love of cooking are welcome to attend but must register with a parent or guardian with both spots paid.
Private Cooking Classes

For our younger chefs, FOODsmith offers playful and interactive cooking classes that emphasize basic cooking skills in a fun and engaging setting. Perfect for celebrations like birthdays!
For children and teens, our cooking classes emphasize basic cooking skills in a playful and interactive environment. They will learn essential kitchen techniques, from measuring and mixing to safe chopping and cooking. Each session is designed to ensure that they not only gain valuable culinary skills but also have fun while doing so. With a focus on creativity and exploration, our classes inspire a love for cooking that will last a lifetime.
For adults, we can tailor these classes to fit your groups interests, skills and maybe even introduce a little bit of healthy competition – contact us and we will help you brainstorm!

If you are looking at a class and it it is looking full, please give us a call to see if we can accommodate the extra guests!
All events must be paid at the time of booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email from your booking your booking did not process.
We know life happens and as a small, events-driven business, we get it. However, our tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE, under any circumstances.
If you’re registered and something comes up, we will happily provide store credit with 1 week notice of a class. Within one week, store credit can no longer be issued but you are welcome to send a friend or two in your spot! (Credit with us does not expire and can be used at any point in the future.)
Low enrollment policy- In the event that our class does not reach at least 6 guests, we will cancel and issue a refund to all registered attendees. You will receive an email and phone call 24 hours prior to class if class is canceled. Weather policy- (very) rarely we have to cancel class due to weather or snow. If we do decide to cancel, you’ll receive a call and email. Otherwise you can assume that class is on!
